Arrive in Nairobi | Fairmont the Norfolk
Arrive in Nairobi, and then transfer to your luxurious accommodations in one of Kenya’s most famous hotels.
Amboseli National Park | Tortilis Camp
Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park and your tented safari camp beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. The elephant population is prolific here. Amid acacia woodland, scrub brush, freshwater swamps and open plains, watch for buffalo, hippos and waterfowl.
Full Day at Amboseli National Park | Tortilis Camp
Embark on exciting morning and afternoon game drives, keeping watch for lions and cheetahs as they prepare to hunt. Then, from atop the perch of prehistoric Observation Hill, witness the grasslands and mighty mountain shift colors at sunset.
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy | Lewa Safari Camp
Board a flight to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a harbor for endangered black rhinos, big cats and elephants. Drive to your exclusive tented camp in the scenic Northern Frontier District, set within a private wildlife conservancy and rhino sanctuary. Take to the bush this afternoon and tomorrow, in search of northern species such as the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and the long-necked gerenuk, which stands on its hind legs to feed. Consider taking a walking safari, optional horseback ride or camel ride (additional cost) — amenities not possible in game reserves or national parks.
Nanyuki | Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club
Drive to Nanyuki, stopping en route at Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a women’s self-help project with a mission to empower women to achieve sustainable livelihoods through social and economic empowerment activities. See how women learn to weave and create a wide range of handsome rugs and other accessories during this inspiring artisan visit. Arrive at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. Check in and spend an afternoon at leisure, perhaps enjoying a swim in the heated pool, or try one of the many optional activities available, such as horseback riding on the slopes of Mount Kenya, golfing or trout fishing.
Masai Mara Game Reserve | Sanctuary Olonana
Fly to the Masai Mara Game Reserve and your award-winning luxury camp. Its 14 elegant tents feature four-poster beds and verandas overlooking a private stretch of the Mara River, where hippos wallow. After a late-afternoon game drive, return to camp for dinner.
Masai Mara Game Reserve | Sanctuary Olonana
For the next two days, explore the vast plains. Situated along the Tanzanian border, the Masai Mara is the site of the annual wildebeest migration and home to the country’s largest lion population. While at Olonana, partake in a Chef’s Table experience, featuring a cooking demonstration of local dishes with the opportunity to taste them when they’re finished. Later, celebrate a sunset on the Mara with a Scenic Sundowner. On your final evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.
