Arrival, Nairobi | Giraffe Manor
Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. You will be warmly welcomed and driven in a private vehicle to the Giraffe Manor a charming boutique hotel offering an experience like no other with a resident herd of Rothschild Giraffe which like to pop their heads through these stunning hotels windows and compete for your attention. Surrounded by 140 acres of indigenous forest just outside Kenya's capital, Nairobi the manor is also host to many species of birds, large families of warthogs and the elusive Bush Buck. Meal plan is all inclusive.

DAY 2
Fly Samburu | Larsens Camp
You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for the hour-long flight to Samburu National Reserve. You will be met at the Samburu airstrip and transferred to the Larsen’s Camp situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the ruggedly beautiful Samburu National Game Reserve. Tranquil and luxurious, this camp enjoys uninterrupted views of the Uaso Nyiro River from the private verandas of every spacious and stylish guest tent. There will be time to relax after lunch and in the late afternoon experience the thrill of your first game drive in Samburu. With its vivid colors and contrasts between sky, bush and sand, the park is a photographer's paradise and home also to the proud and handsome Samburu tribe. Meal plan is all inclusive to include breakfast, lunch & dinner and house wines, soft drinks, bottled water beers and non luxury spirits.

DAY 3
Full Day Samburu | Larsens Camp
Activities on offer today will include a stirring early morning and late afternoon game drives to discover this dramatic wilderness first hand and fascinating encounters with Samburu’s "Special Five," called that because they're only found north of the equator: the Reticulated Giraffe, Long-Necked Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich, Grevy's Zebra and the Beisa Oryx. Overnight will be at Larsens Camp on a full board meal plan.

DAY 4
OL Pejeta Conservancy | OL Pejeta Bush Camp
Early morning gamedrive, followed by Breakfast before you transfer to the local airstrip for your schedule flight to Ol Pehjeta Conservancy. Ol Pejeta situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the white and black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion) and it is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees and holds some of the highest predator densities in Kenya. Two nights will be spent OL Pejeta Bush Camp offering guests with exclusivity and comfort and allowing you to get close to the sounds, smells and sights of Africa.

DAY 5
OL Pejeta Conservancy | OL Pejeta Bush Camp
Spend the day searching for game on this 90,000 acre Conservancy which has Kenya’s largest population of black rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lions, cheetah and more. There are few vehicles on the Conservancy therefore game viewing is a very private and rewarding experience.

DAY 6
Fly Masai Mara | Angama Mara Luxury Camp
A transfer will be provided to the Airstrip for the scheduled flight to the Masai Mara host to the most spectacular array of wildlife, which constantly changes as the plains game follows ancient migration routes under the watchful eyes of the lion, leopard and cheetah that prey on the vulnerable. This is the home to the Big Five, big cats, and a whole host of other wildlife amongst its rolling plains and open savannah. Upon arrival, you will be whisked away with a game drive enroute to Angama Mara. Located high above the floor of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, Angama Mara overlooks Kenya’s Maasai Mara, considered by many as the loveliest game reserve on the continent. Sitting snugly across three kopje’s of the escarpment, the third kopje is perhaps most well-known as the site of many of the most memorable scenes from the film Out of Africa.

DAY 7
Masai Mara Game Reserve | Angama Mara Luxury Camp
This may be the last day of your safari, but it could be the most thrilling as today there’s the opportunity to take a hot-air balloon safari to gain a whole new perspective of the Maasai Mara. This is our most highly recommended optional experience in Kenya. Wake early and watch as the balloon is prepared, then take flight and drift upwards as the sun rises; the bright pink-orange haze visible for miles across the vast savannah and the wildlife roaming below you. This will be followed by an impressive Champagne breakfast that will be set up for your group wherever you land. Spend your day exploring the magnificent Masai Mara and we would leave after breakfast for a full day game drive in the Mara a fabulous place to spot the big cats and all of the big five, a variety of plains game and over 300 birds’ species. It’s also the migration time with good chances of seeing the crossing at the Mara River. Your chef will prepare a delicious hot lunch cooked out in the wild served by your personal butler. Return in the late afternoon after an exciting day to a hot safari shower and roaring fire and a gourmet dinner.

Depart Nairobi | Fairmont The Norfolk (dayroom)
Fly to Nairobi, where a dayroom awaits until your international flight.
